Carrying on 13 generations of winemaking & distilling, this family has been in Napa Valley for 25 years fermenting & bottling their wines, ports made with their own brandies, and aperitifs as well as whiskey, rums, grappas and in 1998 they started a line of vodkas from whole fresh fruit. Miles Karakasevic, a winemaker/master distiller from what was called Yugoslavia, now teaches his family all the artisan ways he learned along with the modern methods of California. This family loves what they are doing and it shows in the line of up products. There is a whole new project in the works as Miles & his son Marko venture into.... well, stand by to learn more. The also hold the Charbay Artisan Bar at Tra Vigne on Fridays at 2-5 where you can taste the spirits of Charbay with a family member.
